2.1. Typenmaterial

Amsel (1951: 543-544) gibt keinerlei Hinweise zum Typenmaterial. Rajaei & al. (2023: 239) bemerken: “This species was described by Amsel (1951: 543) based on a single male specimen from Iran, without a more detailed type locality. Later, it was reported by Amsel (1961a) under its junior synonym, M. constans Amsel, 1951, from the provinces Fars, Alborz and Sistan-o-Baluchestan.”

Der Holotypus wird im Swedish Museum of Natural History aufbewahrt [Abbildung auf www2.nrm.se], ebenso ein Typus des Synonyms Myelois constans [Abbildung auf www2.nrm.se].
