Rajaei & al. (2023: 233) äußern sich zu einem angeblichen Vorkommen im Iran: “This species (type locality: Madagascar) was reported as “semiusta” from Iran (provinces Kerman, Khuzestan and Sistan-o-Baluchestan) by Amsel (1959b). According to Leraut (2021) it is confined to S Africa and Central Madagascar. The records from Iran should be regarded as an error.”
