3.1. Faunistik

Amsel (1935: 285) fand seine neue Art beim Georgskloster in Jericho (Palästinensische Autonomiegebiete). Die Art ist bisher nur von dort und der "Jordanbrücke" bekannt. Slamka (2019: 167) vermutete aber eine weitere Verbreitung im Nahen Osten. Und er sollte Recht behalten: Alipanah (2025) meldet die Art erstmals aus der Hormozgan-Provinz im Süden des Iran: "Hormozgân Province: 1 ♂, Bandar-e Khamir, Mardoo Isl., Mangrove forest".
