Hofmann & Tremewan (2020: 554) nennen Vicia cracca, Vicia elegans und Astragalus sirinicus als Raupennahrungspflanzen im Freiland. Dabei betonen sie: "Remarkable are the different regional host-plants. While the populations of Greece and Albania live on Astragalus, those on Crimea (and some sites in Turkey) live on Vicia sp."

4.3. Taxonomie

Nach der Checkliste in Hofmann & Tremewan (2017: 55) gehört die Art in die Untergattung Agrumenia und dort in die "olivieri-group".

4.4. Faunistik

Die Verbreitungskarte von Hofmann & Tremewan (2020: 551) zeigt ein sehr großes Verbreitungsgebiet mit allerdings sehr locker verteilten Nachweispunkten. Im Text ist zu lesen: "Zygaena sedi is one of the rarest Zygaena species in collections, its distribution being very patchy with only a few records from southern Albania ([...]) and central Greece ([...]), from southern an eastern Bulgaria, southern Crimea (Ukraine) and the lower Volga (Russia). Recently the species was discovered in the southern Urals (Orenburgskaya obl., Kubaidik vic.[...])". Hinzu kommen einige Nachweispunkte in der Türkei. Die Art fehlt in der gesamten Kaukasus-Region.
