3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Slamka (2019: 80) erklärt: "The species name shahkuhella is derived from the name of the type locality Shahkuh, in North Iran."

3.2. Taxonomie

Nach Slamka (2019: 79) gehört die Art in die Gruppe um P. maraschella, mit der sie bisher verwechselt wurde, und von der sie äußerlich nicht zu unterscheiden ist.

3.3. Faunistik

Die Art ist bisher nur vom locus typicus im Nord-Iran bekannt. Slamka (2019: 82) vermutet eine weitere Verbreitung im Elburs-Gebirge.

3.4. Typenmaterial

Slamka (2019: 81) informiert: "Holotype, ♂: N Persia, Poin Schahkuh [N Iran, Shahkuh, 36°35'1''N, 54°43'13''E], vii.[19]98, Funke, coll. NHMW [14,4 mm] GP MV 20022 Slamka". Die 3 Paratypen stammen vom selben Fundort.
