3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Alipanah (2025: 130) erklärt - für Pyraloidea-Kenner sicher wenig überraschend: "The newly described species is named in honor of František Slamka in recognition of his contribution in studying of the Palaearctic Pyraloidea."

Die Art ist bislang nur von Mangrove-Wäldern der Provinz Hormozgân im Süden des Iran bekannt.
