Ragonot (1887: 256) beschrieb seine neue Art aus "Marghilan" [= Margʻilon] im Osten von Usbekistan. Korb (2023: 29) listet die Art von den "Kirghizsky Mts" in Kirgisistan, wobei mir nicht klar ist, woher die Meldung kommt. Rajaei et al. (2023) führen die Art erstmals aus dem Iran an, konkreter aus der Provinz Fars.

Huemer et al. (2025: 11) listen die Art in ihrem Kapitel "New Records with Accompanying DNA Barcodes" als neu für Zypern und damit Europa i.w.S. auf. Gefunden wurde ein Falter mit BIN BOLD:AFO3293.
