3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
Locus typicus ist Digne.
3.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik
Leraut (2014: 91) beschrieb das Taxon als neue Unterart von Anerastia lotella: "Anerastia lotella dignella Leraut, ssp. nov. From Digne. Male and female. Wingspan: 22-26 mm. Forewing extremely light yellow, variably marked with light café-au-lait to very pale grey; costal line lighter, hardly visible even [...] Distribution. France: Hautes-Alpes and Alpes de Haut-Provence."
Bidzilya et al. (2024) bemerken dazu in ihrem Vorspann: "Recently, another taxon — Anerastia lotella dignella P. Leraut, 2014 was described from Digne, Alpes de Haute-Provence (France)." Aufbauend auf ihren Barcode-Studien erheben sie dieses Taxon in den Artrang (Anerastia dignella P. Leraut, 2014). Nächste Art ist mit 2,03 % Abstand die neu beschriebene Anerastia oleshkyella Bidzilya, Huemer & Yepishin, 2024.
