Locus typicus nach Amsel (1950: 226-227) ist "Keredj" in Persien, heute Karadsch am Fuße des im Elbursgebirges (englisch Karaj, Alborz Province) im Iran. Slamka (2019: 60) führt die Art auch aus Turkmenistan und Usbekistan an.
