Die Art wurde aus dem Iran beschrieben. Akın & Seven (2024: 585) melden sie erstmals aus der Türkei: "Türkiye, Elazığ Province, Maden district; 1♂ Altıntarla, 1360 m, 24.08.2016; 1♂ Hanevleri, 1602 m, 20.07.2017; 1♂ Kavak, 1350 m, 09.09.2017, leg. A. Çakır, in BEU. "

Amsel (1953: 265-266): „Holotypus: 1 ♂ Binaloud-Gebirge (Meched). Allotypus: 1 ♀ Shiraz, 8.9. 1950. Paratypus: 8 ♂♂ und ♀♀ von den gleichen Fundorten und aus Quli Kush, 14.6. 40, Keredj. (Coll. Brandt und Wiltshire).“
