Die Art wurde aus Comé im Iran beschrieben.

Slamka (2013: 124-125) vermutet, dass die Art synonym zu M. ossealis ist.

3.3. Faunistik

Slamka (2013: 124) meldet zur Art ganz knapp: "Turkey, Armenia, Iran".

3.4. Typenmaterial

Amsel (1961: 414) beschrieb die Art aus dem Iran: "Holotypus: 1 ♂ Sine Comé 1.7.1937. Paratypus: 4 ♂ dto. 7.8.1937."
