1.1. Nomenklatur
Léger et al. (2019) beschrieben ihre neue Tribus als "Euchromiini". Damit schufen sie ein neues Homonym zu den Euchromiinae Butler, 1876 [jetzt Arctiini Euchromiina Butler, 1876]. Die Autoren (Landry et al. (2020)) stellten einen Korrekturantrag an die Nomenklaturkomission des ICZN: "Case 3819 – Euchromiini Léger, Landry & Nuss, 2019 (Insecta, Lepidoptera, Crambidae) and Euchromiinae Butler, 1876 (Insecta, Lepidoptera, Erebidae): proposed resolution of homonymy by emending the former to Euchromiusini". Diesem Antrag wurde in der Sitzung vom 31. März 2022 einstimmig stattgegeben. Das Protokoll dazu erschien aber erst am 31. Dezember 2024 (International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature (2024)).
