3.1. Faunistik

Vorkommen (?) auf Zypern; in Europa im engeren Sinne fehlend. Slamka (2013) vermutet, dass sich die heute unbelegte Meldung der aus Beirut (Libanon) beschriebenen Metasia albicostalis von Zypern durch Rebel (1939) ("Platres, 29 Juli; Akrometa, 26. August Weibchen (Mavr. det. Zerny).") auf Metasia rosealis bezogen haben könnte, die Art also gar nicht im Gebiet vorkäme.
