Błeszyński (1961: 455-456): “This species is described from two specimens. I designate as the holotype the specimen labelled: “Arabia, Hejaz, Jidda, 22. XI. 1926, H. St. H. B. Philby”. The typoid bears a similar label, however, it was taken on 9. XII. 1926. The two are in the collection of the British Museunm (Nat. Hist.) in London.”
