3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Baldizzone (2021: 481) erläutert seine Namenswahl: "The name derives from the Latin donatus [-a, -um] = gifted, to recall the gift of specimens made to me by G. Baish." [sic! recte: G. Baisch]

3.2. Taxonomie

Baldizzone (2021: 479) erklärt: "Coleophora donata Baldizzone, sp. n., a new species from Turkey belonging to the 18th group of the Toll system (1953)". Genitaliter vergleicht er sie mit Coleophora cartilaginella.

3.3. Faunistik

Die Art ist bisher nur durch die beiden von Günter Baisch gefangenen Typenexemplare vom Çamlıbel Geçidi in der Provinz Sivas, gut 300 km östlich von Ankara in Ostanatolien, bekannt.

Baldizzone (2021: 480) teilt mit: "Holotype ♂ (PG Bldz 12873) “TÜRKEI, Sivas | 12 km nördl.[isch] Yildizeli | Camlibel Gec.[idi] | 1600 - 1800 m | 8-7 - 11-7-[19]92 Li.[chtfang] | G. Baisch”, coll. Baldizzone. Paratype ♀ (PG Bldz 12876) idem, coll. Baldizzone."
