Baldizzone & Tabell (2002: 77): “Holotype: ♂ (GP Bldz 12526) Turkey, Sultan Daglari near Doganhisar, ex larva 21-VII-1999, Cirsium sp. 23-VI-1999, leg. J. Tabell. In coll. G. Baldizzone.” — Paratypen: 6 ♂♂ und 8 ♀♀, alle aus dem asiatischen Teil der Türkei.
