3.1. Nahrung der Raupe
- [Caryophyllaceae:] Acanthophyllum elatius
Bei Falkovitsh (1988: 302) ist im Schlüssel zu den Arten an "Acanthophyllum (Caryophyllaceae)" zu lesen: "Case silky, gradually attenuate caudally, uniformly covered with sand. Grows from cephalic end up to length of 22 to 25 mm. At end of development, slender and curved caudal part discarded; expansion of case does not take place. Valve three-sided. Length of completed case: male 12 to 15 mm, female 8 to 12 mm. June and (after diapause) April-beginning May. Young larvae hibernate on A. elatius Bge. and Boiss." Auch Anikin et al. (2017: 117) nennen Acanthophyllum als einzige Nahrungspflanze der Art.

Die Art wurde aus Afghanistan beschrieben. Anikin et al. (2017: 117) führen sie die Oblasten Wolgograd und Saratov im Süden des europäischen Teils von Russland an.
