4.2. Faunistik

Die Art wurde aus Algerien beschrieben, das Synonym Coleophora latistriella aus Libyen. Baldizzone et al. (2006: 97) führen die Art außerdem von Tunesien, Saudi-Arabien, dem Irak und Iran an.

Walsingham (1907: 129) listet: "Type, (96530). Mus. Wlsm. Hab.: ALGERIA - Biskra, 11-20.III.1903; Hammam-es-Salahin, 9-17.IV.1904. Four specimens."
