2.1. Nahrung der Raupe

• [Fabaceae:] Anthyllis cytisoides (Ruten-Wundklee)

Tabell (2013: 481) meldet aus Süd-Spanien (Alicante): "The larval case (Fig. 8) is creamy or yellowish white, constructed of one hollow piece of the leaf of A. cytisoides, excized from a leaf-mine. The anal opening is bivalved, the oral opening at 50º. The larva exchanges the case at least once, and length of the final case is 7 mm. Pupates inside the case in April."

Anthyllis cytisoides wird auch von Coleophora rudella, Coleophora vestalella und Coleophora alacanta als Raupennahrung genutzt.

Tabell (2013: 481) meldet Raupensackfunde aus Alicante in Süd-Spanien. Er erläutert: "C. kahaourella is a rare species, which is only known from Libya and Spain (Baldizzone et al., 2006)."

Toll (1956: 127) informiert: « HOLOTYPE (femelle), 18-V-1919 ; un paratype, Zizara 19-V-1919 (tous deux collection du Muséum national, Paris). Un paratype Kahaoura 18-V-1919 (ma collection). »
