Wegen des fehlenden Abdomen verzichten Baldizzone & van der Wolf (2003: 9) auf eine Diagnose sowie auf eine systematische Einordnung des Taxons.

Baldizzone & van der Wolf (2003: 9) geben die Daten des Holotypus wieder: “Holotype ♂, INDIA. – ‘HOLOTYPE’ (round purple-edged BMNH label), ‘Shillong, Assam, TBF, 9. 20’, ‘leucochares Meyr.’ (Meyrick’s handwritten label), ‘Coleophora leucochares Meyr. 2/2, E. Meyrick det., in Meyrick coll.’, ‘Abdomen missing’, ‘Holotype ♂, Coleophora leucochares Meyr., teste K. Sattler, 1988’ (BMNH) [examined].”
