3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)
Knyazev (2025: 583) erklärt: "The specific name derived from Turkmenistan, the country where the new species is described from."
3.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik
Knyazev (2025: 581-582) diskutiert die bisher beschriebenen Triodia-Arten und stellt dann fest: "A series of specimens belonging to none of the known species was found in the collection of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg." Die neue Art gehört wohl in die nächste Verwandtschaft von Triodia laeta aus dem Kaukasus. Sie stamt aus dem Südwesten Turkmenistans und wurde schon lange vor 1900 gesammelt.
