Patibhakyothin et al. (2015) beschrieben die Art aus dem Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. in Thailand. Hu et al. (2026: 76) schrieben zur Verbreitung: "China (Guangxi, Xizang, Yunnan), Thailand (Patibhakyothin et al. 2015). Remarks. This species is newly recorded from China, and the female is described for the first time."
