Typusart ist Sorolopha cyclotoma Lower, 1901. Hu et al. (2026) schreiben: "The genus Sorolopha Lower, 1901 is one of the most species-rich genera in the tribe Olethreutini (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae: Olethreutinae). It currently comprises 77 species distributed across the Oriental, Australasian, Palaearctic, and African regions, with the majority occurring in the Oriental region (Gilligan et al. 2018; Lopez-Vaamonde et al. 2019; Sakagami 2023). Adults of Sorolopha are medium-sized and generally recognizable by their distinctive appearance: most species have forewings with green shading and a prominent, rounded marking in the apical region. Males often have lateral brushes of sex scales on the abdomen, and their genitalia are characterized by extremely long, pendulous socii and slender valva."
