Hinweis: Nach Elliot (1969: 99-100) gehört der Holotypus von Neptis ananta learmondi Tytler, 1940 sicher zu N. ananta, der weibliche Paratypus (Allotypus) hingegen einer anderen Art an, Neptis namba.

Nach [Global Biodiversity Information Facility] kommt die Art in China, Indien, Taiwan, Bhutan, Nepal, Thailand, Myanmar, Armenien? und Indonesien vor.

Locus typicus gemäß Erstbeschreibung von Moore (1858: 5): Simla [Hauptstadt des indischen Bundesstaates Himachal Pradesh]; N.W. India.
