Auf der inzwischen gesperrten Website pathpiva.fr war am 3. November 2016 zu erfahren: "Lozotaenia cupidinana, mabilliana, straminea (et retiana de Sardaigne) forment un groupe de Taxons au statut spécifique encore mal défini. Les trois premières « espèces » cohabitent en Corse Avec des biologies qui semblent différents. Une étude plus approfondie incluant du matériel d'Espagne est en cours."
