4.3. Faunistik

Nach Bengtsson (1997) ist die Art im Mittelmeerraum weit verbreitet; er nennt Rumänien, Bulgarien, Griechenland, Sizilien, Sardinien, Korsika, Portugal und - durch die Synonymisierung von Scythris marocanella - Marokko. Nach der Tabelle S. 284 hat er davon Belege aus Korsika, Griechenland, Marokko und Portugal gesehen - das abgebildete Männchen-Genital stammt von Sardinien. Rumänien wird durch Rákosy & Goia (2021: 212) bestätigt: "It was reported incorrectly as Enolmis acanthella (Godart, 1824) (Popescu-Gorj 1959; Popescu-Gorj & Drăghia 1968/1)."

Bidzilya et al. (2017: 500) melden die Art erstmals für die Ukraine: "1♂, Nikolaev distr., RLP Tylihulskiy Liman, Tashino vill., 28.vi.2010, at light (Goloborod’ko); 1♀, Odessa reg., Kurudova balka, 12.vii.2014 (Novitckiy); 1♂, Odessa reg., Gradenintsy vill., 6.vii.2015 (Novitckiy)."

Kelemen et al. (2018) berichten über den Erstfund der Art für Ungarn: 2 ♂, 1 ♀: Mezőtúr, Méher-zug, 2016. 07. 03. leg. Lévai Sz.. Sie vermuten, dass die Neufunde auf einer Nordausbreitung der Art beruhen. Sie legen u.a. eine von I. Fazekas erstellte West-Paläarktis-Karte der Art vor.
