- Heliodines sexpunctella Walsingham, 1892 [Originalkombination]
3.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik
Walsingham (1892: 384-385) beschrieb seine neue Art als "Heliodines sexpunctella". Er notierte: "This species differs from bella, Chamb., in the absence of a basal spot or streak, in the number of spots and in the color of the under side of the thorax." Grundlage für die Beschreibung war ein einziges Webchen von "Arizona" ohne nähere Fundortfestlegung. Die Art wurde seither nicht wiedergefunden. Hsu & Powell (2005) überführten sie in die Gattung Embola.
3.3. Typenmaterial
Walsingham (1892: 385) meldete: "Hab: Arizona. (Morrison.)" und "Type ♀ Mus. Wlsm." Hsu & Powell (2005: 70) können nur wiederholen: "Holotype: ♂: U.S.A.: ARIZONA: “1883 ” [no further data] (Morrison, BMNH, slide 9378)." Das "Weibchen" erwies sich bei der Genitaluntersuchung allerdings als Männchen.
