Anscheinend noch unbekannt! Walsingham (1882: 432) bemerkte zu den Säcken nur “attached to stems of a grass or rush”. Seither findet sich meist die Angabe "Juncus". Sie scheint aber ganz auf die genannte Erstbeschreibung zurückzugehen. Edwards (1889: 128) hatte diese zitiert und daraus abgeleitet: "Food plants: Gramineae, Juncus."
