2.1. Nahrung der Raupe
- [Amaranthaceae: Salsoloideae:] Arthrophytum iliense
Der Holotypus aus dem asiatischen Teil Kasachstans wurde nach Falkovitsch (1989: 63) als Raupensack an Arthrophytum iliense gefunden. Anikin et al. (2017: 117) vermerken zu ihrem Vorkommen an der Unteren Wolga: "This plant is unknown from the Lower Volga". Da die ganze Gattung Arthrophytum zentralasiatisch verbreitet ist, muss es in Europa eine andere Nahrungspflanze geben, wohl ebenfalls aus den Salsoloideae.

3.2. Taxonomie
Baldizzone & Huemer (2026: 75) schreiben zum von ihnen ermittelten Barcode: "BIN: BOLD:AAP5893. The intraspecific average p-distance of the barcode region is 0.17% (n=3). The minimum p-distance to the Nearest Neighbor, Coleophora subtremula (Anikin, 2002) from Georgia, is 1% (BIN: BOLD:AFD9277) (n=2)."
3.3. Faunistik
Nach der nicht mehr online verfügbaren Fauna Europaea, Version 2.4, last updated 27 January 2011 in Europa nur im Süden des europäischen Teils Russlands. Anikin et al. (2017: 117) führen die Art an aus "steppe biotopes" von Saratov, Samara und Uljanovsk. Dieses Vorkommen ist deutlich losgelöst von demjenigen in Zentralasien. Baldizzone & Huemer (2026: 75) melden die Art erstmals für Kirgisistan: "1 ♀, Kyrgyzstan (K129), Talas, umgebung Chong-Kara-Buura, 1200m, 30.7.2024, leg. P. Huemer, gen. slide Bldz 18462 ♀, DNA Barcode ID TLMF_Lep_43115 (coll. TLMF)." Daraus ergibt sich für die Gesamtverbreitung: "Russia (Volga region), Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan. New for Kyrgyzstan."
