3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Tabell (2017: 389): “The specific name refers to a tiger (Panthera tigris), considering to its coloration.”

3.2. Taxonomie

Tabell (2017: 388) stellte beim Barcode-Vergleich mit C. brunneosignata, C. marcarolensis und C. turbatella eine Divergenz von 6,38 bis 10,54 % fest. Es existiere noch kein Barcode der morphologisch nahe verwandten C. glaseri.
