• [Asteraceae:] Staehelina dubia (Zweifelhafte Strauchscharte)

Walsingham (1891: 139) schrieb in seiner Esrtbeschreibung aus Südfrankreich: "The larva feeds upon Staehelinus dubius. It hollows out the whole width of one of the narrow leaves, and forms its case by cutting of a sufficient length of the hollow leaf to contain it. The upper-side of the leaf being much darker than the under-side, which is whitish, the case has a rather peculiar bicoloured appearance. [...]". Dies blieb bis heute die einzige bekannte Nahrungspflanze der Art. Pflanze wie Falter sind auf den westlichen Mittelmeerraum beschränkt.
