3.2. Taxonomie und Faunistik
Nach der online nicht mehr verfügbaren Fauna Europaea, Version 2.4, last updated 27 January 2011 in Europa nur im Süden des europäischen Teils Russlands. Ein Paratypus stammt aus der Ukraine (Krim). Richter (2017) meldet die Art erstmals aus Montenegro und Mazedonien.
Baldizzone & Huemer (2026: 47-48) melden zahlreiche Nachweise aus Kirgisistan. Als Gesamtverbreitungsgebiet nennen sie: "Italy, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia (Lower Volga, South Urals, Altai, Siberia), Kyrgyzstan (Baldizzone, 2023)." Dabei machen sie auch Angaben zum Barcode: "BIN: BOLD:AAI9227. A single specimen of C. nevadella Baldizzone, 1985 in this BIN is a misidentification. The intraspecific average p-distance of the barcode region is 0.36% (n=20). The minimum p-distance to the Nearest Neighbor, Coleophora nepetellae Baldizzone & Nel, 2014, is 3.05% (BIN: BOLD:AAB2198) (n=20)."
