Baldizzone & Tabell (2016: 582): “The name of the new species is derived from Sabina, a historical region of central Italy, situated between Umbria, Lazio and Abruzzo. The inhabitants of the pre-Roman population were called the Sabines. Most specimens were collected in this area.”
