3.1. Faunistik

Die Art wurde aus Marokko (Großer Atlas und Anti-Atlas) beschrieben und ist bisher auch nur von dort bekannt. Zwei der Paratypen galten bis zur Beschreibung der neuen Art als Paratypen von Coleophora eilatica Baldizzone, 1994. Jene Art ist jetzt für Marokko zu streichen.
