4.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Baldizzone & Tabell (2007) erklären: "Lat. para = equal, like. The specific name refers to close affinity with C. gallivora Falkovitsh, 1970, especially in the structure of the male genitalia."

Baldizzone & Huemer (2026: 87) schreiben zum Barcode: "BIN: BOLD:AEV6226. The intraspecific average p-distance of the barcode region is unknown (n=1). The minimum p-distance to the Nearest Neighbor, Coleophora gallivora Falkovitsh, 1970 is 3.35% (BIN: BOLD:AAD2977) (n=5)."

Baldizzone & Tabell (2007) kannten die Art nur vom locus typicus bei Pokrovka im Südural. Erst mit dem oben gezeigten Foto aus Kirgisistan konnte ein zweiter Fundort belegt werden. Baldizzone & Huemer (2026: 86) nennen diesen und noch weitere Nachweise aus Kirgisistan: "2 ♂, Kyrgyzstan, Moldo-Too Mts., 7 km E of Kyzyl-Korgon, 1491 m, 23–24.4.2023, leg. S. Korb, gen. slide Bldz 18622 ♂; 1 ♂, Kyrgyzstan (K69), Issyk-Kul lake, Kaji Say, 1774m, 19./20.6.2022, leg. P. Huemer, gen. slide Bldz 18492 ♂, DNA Barcode ID TLMF_Lep_33108 (all coll. TLMF); 1 ♀, Kyrgyzstan (K69), Issyk-Kul Lake, Kaji Say, 1774m, 19./20.6.2022, leg. T. Mayr, gen. slide Bldz 18264 ♀ (coll. Mayr and coll. Baldizzone)."

4.5. Typenmaterial

Baldizzone & Tabell (2007) schreiben zum Holotypus: "Holotype f “Russia, S-Ural, Orenburg district, Pokrovka village 20 km S, Schibendy valley, 04-VI-1998, T. & K. NUPPONEN leg., in coll. T. & K. NUPPONEN." Zudem listen sie 39 Paratypen auf, alle von der Typenlokalität.
