3.1. Faunistik

Die Art wurde nach 74 Tieren von einer einzigen Fundstelle im N-Iran beschrieben. Baldizzone (1994: 57) untersuchte vier Falter von drei weiteren Fundorten in Iran.

Amsel (1977: 231) informiert: "Holotypus: 1 ♂ N-Iran, Salzsee 90 km südlich Teheran, 900 m, 21.6.1975. H.G. Amsel leg. Allotypus: 1 ♀ dto. Paratypus : 60 ♂♂, 13 ♀♀ dto., alle in coll. LNK, einige Exemplare auch in coll. Wolfgang Glaser und in coll. ZIANL."
