Nach Constant (1885: 8) leben die Raupen im Littoral der Alpes-Maritimes an der französischen Mittelmeerküste des Golfe-Juan an Camphorosma monspeliaca (Familie Amaranthaceae).

Baldizzone (1978: 359) gibt die Daten des Lectotypus wieder: “Lectotype ♀ (et non ♂ comme l'indique par erreur P. Viette) : désigné par P. Viette (1951). Littoral des Alpes-Maritimes, Cannes (Genitalia, prép. G. Baldizzone n° 1859), Constant leg., coll. Ragonot.”
