3.2. Faunistik

Die Art wurde aus der Mongolei beschrieben. Locus typicus nach Falkovitsh (1975: 354) ist: „Central aimak, 26 km O von Somon Lun, 1180 m“.

Nach der Fauna Europaea [Fauna Europaea, Version 2.4, last updated 27 January 2011] in Europa nur im Süden des europäischen Teils Russlands. Bei Anikin (1998: 39) heißt es dazu: "Ecebalia lunensis (FALKOVTTSH, 1975). Astrakhan prov., Astrakhan Nature Reserve, 10.VIII.1968, 1 ♂, PENCHUKOVSKAYA leg. Distribution: Mongolia, Lower Volga region (Russia)." Anikin et al. (2017: 113) führen sie für Kalmykia und Astrakhan an und vermerken: "Not common in desert-steppe biotopes."
