Li & Zheng (1998: 4) beschrieben die Art nach einem einzigen Falter: “Holotype ♂, Gongliu [43.4°N, 82.2°E], Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, alt. 1500 m, July 29, 1994, leg. Li Houhun and Qin Hongyan, genitalia slide no. L96372.”
