McDunnough (1936: 54): “Holotype—♂, Annapolis Royal, N. S., July 3, 1934, (bred from Kalmia (J. McDunnough) ; No. 4071 in the Canadian National Collection, Ottawa. Allotype—♀, same data, July 1. Paratypes—3 ♂, 2 ♀, same data, June 26, 27, July 3. One of these will be deposited in the United States National Museum and another in the collection of Dr. A. Braun, Cincinnati, Ohio.”
