2.1. Taxonomie und Faunistik

Die Art wurde aus Afghanistan beschrieben. Baldizzone & Huemer (2026: 58) melden sie erstmals für Kirgisistan: "1 ♂, 4 ♀, Kyrgyzstan (K134), Chatkal Kirka Tooshu (Ostausläufer), Halbwüste umgeb. Ala Buka, 1250m, 3.8.2024, leg. T. Mayr, gen. slide Bldz 18467 ♀, 18469 ♀, 18567 ♂, DNA Barcode IDs TLMF_Lep_46890, 46891 (coll. Mayr and coll. Baldizzone)." Als Gesamtverbreitung ergibt sich daraus bei ihnen: "Iran, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan. New for Kyrgyzstan." Zum Barcode ist dabei zu erfahren: "BIN: BOLD:ACB1742. The intraspecific average p-distance of the barcode region is 0% (n=5). The minimum p-distance to the Nearest Neighbor, Coleophora hungariae (Gozmány, 1955) from Hungary, is 3.8% (BIN: BOLD:ACT2618) (n=2)."
