Baldizzone & Kaltenbach (1983) wussten in ihrer Erstbeschreibung noch nichts über die Biologie der Raupe. Nach Baldizzone (2019: 375) änderte sich das mit Baldizzone & Nel (1992). Baldizzone (2019: 375) kann jetzt schreiben: "Piante alimentari: Atriplex portulacoides, Sarcocornia fruticosa (Chenopodiaceae). Die Art gilt als streng halophil.
