Baldizzone & Huemer (2026: 96) schreiben zum Barcode: "BIN: BOLD:ACE1065. The intraspecific average p-distance of the barcode region is 0.40% (n=6). The minimum p-distance to the Nearest Neighbor, Coleophora plicipunctella Chrétien, 1915 from Spain, is 4.65% (BIN: BOLD:AHE5785) (n=1)."

4.4. Faunistik

Nach der Fauna Europaea (version 2.4, last update 27 January 2011 [nicht mehr online verfügbar]) kommt die Art im Süden des europäischen Teils von Russland vor. Baldizzone & Huemer (2026: 96) melden die Art erstmals aus Kirgisistan: "2 ♀, Kyrgyzstan (K55 A), Alexander Mountains, near Bishkek, ca. 1100 m, 12.6.2022, leg. P. Huemer, DNA Barcode IDs TLMF_Lep_34467, 42035; 1 ♀, Kyrgyzstan (K78), Alexander Mountains, near Bishkek, 1060 m, 22.6.2022, leg. P. Huemer, DNA Barcode ID TLMF_Lep_32954 (all coll. TLMF)." Sie schreiben zur bisher bekannten Verbreitung: "Crimea, Russia (from Middle to Lower Volga, Ural Province, SW Siberia), Caucasus (including Armenia), Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Afghanistan. New for Kyrgyzstan."
