Nach Emmet et al. (1996: 325) erfolgt die Eiablage an Blüten der Glieder-Binse (Juncus articulatus). Baldizzone (2019: 358) vermutet, dass noch weitere Juncus-Arten genutzt werden könnten.

Nach Bryner et al. (2004) kommt die Art auch in der Schweiz vor.

Locus typicus nach Waters (1929): "England : Oxfordshire : Binsey, near Oxford, since 1914; Otmoor, 1928."
