3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Shovkoon & Trofimova (2024: 74) erklären: "The species is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Viktor P. Polyakov (Samara Province, Russia), an outstanding cardiovascular surgeon, a scientist in the field of cardiology and an organiser of the regional school for training in cardiovascular surgery, which is based on the Samara Regional Clinical Cardiology Dispensary named after V.P. Polyakov and the Samara State Medical University."

Shovkoon & Trofimova (2024: 70-72) beschreiben ihre neue Art von den Philippinen (Luzon Island, Panay Island, Negros Island und Samar Island). Zur Gesamtverbreitung schreiben sie entsprechend: "Philippines (Luzon, Panay, Negros and Samar)."

Shovkoon & Trofimova (2024: 70-72) informieren: "Holotype. PHILIPPINES: LUZON ISLAND • 1 ♂ Philippines, N.Luzon, 5 km S of Adams 350 m 6+7 Apr[il]. 2008, 18°31.338'N, 120°55.690'E (GU 28.779); ZSM."

Die lange Serie von Paratypen umfasst 71 ♂ und 27 ♀ und stammt ebenfalls überwiegend von Luzon und Negros, zum kleinen Teil auch Panay und Samar, also ausschließlich von den Philippinen.
