3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Shovkoon & Trofimova (2024: 75) erklären: "The species is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Viktor P. Polyakov (Samara Province, Russia), an outstanding cardiovascular surgeon, a scientist in the field of cardiology and an organiser of the regional school for training in cardiovascular surgery, which is based on the Samara Regional Clinical Cardiology Dispensary named after V.P. Polyakov and the Samara State Medical University."

Shovkoon & Trofimova (2024: 75) beschreiben ihre neue Art von den Philippinen (Mindanao Island, Mindoro Island, Leyte Island). Zur Gesamtverbreitung schreiben sie entsprechend: "Philippines (Mindanao, Mindoro and Leyte)."

Shovkoon & Trofimova (2024: 74) informieren: "Holotype: PHILIPPINES: MINDANAO ISLAND • 1 ♂ Philippinen, Mindanao Island. Nord prov. Missamis, Secundarveget, 300 m, Melasag Mt., 10.–22.ii.1996, leg. S. Gundorov (GU 26.961); ZSM."

Die Serie von Paratypen umfasst 25 ♂ und 7 ♀) und stammt ebenfalls überwiegend von Mindanao, teilweise auch von Mindoro und Leyte, also ausschließlich von den Philippinen.
