Noch unbekannt! Davis (1969: 139) schloss aus der Beschaffenheit des Ovipositors, dass die Arten der Gattung Acanthopteroctetes - wie die von Eriocrania - Blattminierer sein dürften.

3.1. Faunistik

Davis (1969: 144) beschrieb seine neue Art nach 3 Exemplaren aus Oregon und California. Davis (1978: 98) konnte nichts ergänzen und schrieb zur bekannten Verbreitung: "Known only from the Blue Mountains-Wallowa Mountains section of the Columbia Plateau in northeastern Oregon and the southern Sierra Nevada of east-central California."

Davis (1969: 144) listete: "Holotype female: Oregon, Spring Cre ek, Baker, [Baker County]' May 17, 1962, coIl. by J. H. Baker; in the United States National Museum, no. 69929.
