3.1. Nahrung der Raupe

  • [Plumbaginaceae:] Ceratolimon feei [= Limoniastrum feei, Bubania feei]

Walsingham (1907) schrieb in seiner Erstbeschreibung aus Algerien: "Larvae and pupae in loose webs at the base of the stems and on root-crowns of Limoniastrum feei. The young larva begins by mining down the leaf."

Klimesch) from Italy (Mti Sibillini) may belong to bubaniae but more specimens are needed before a final decision on identity can be made." Bei Scythris braschiella heißt es dazu: "The specific differences between braschiella bubaniae and an undescribed species from Iran are subtile. The genitalia nuances may be fully understood only when more specimens of bubaniae and the Iranian species are available. [...] A male specimen of bubaniae from Italy (in coll. Klimesch) has been examined by the author. There are only small differences in the genitalia compared to braschiella but the external appearance is unlike the German specimens having White, distinctly opposite spots in the forewing."
