Li & Zheng (1999: 190) beschrieben die Art nach einem einzigen Falter: “Holotype ♂ Beitun [47.3°N, 87.8°E], Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, alt. 530 m, July 22, 1994, leg. Li Houhun and Qin Hongyan, genitalia slide no. L9642.”
