Noch unbekannt! Buschmann et al. (2014) vermuten den Kempfer-Wermut (Artemisia alba) als Nahrungspflanze, da die Falter aus einem entsprechenden Bestand aufgescheucht wurden.

3.1. Typenmaterial

Baldizzone (1990: 37) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen ♂: « Holotype mâle (PG Blds [sic] 3870): France méridionale, Viens, 3.VI.1964, Buvat leg, coll. Baldizzone. »

Baldizzone & van der Wolf (2000) können über den Nachweis zweier Tiere aus Ungarn (Csákberény, Bucka-hegy) berichten und auf dieser Basis auch erstmals das Weibchen beschreiben. Nach Buschmann et al. (2014) gibt es sonst seither nur noch Nachweise aus Mazedonien und der Türkei.
